Lush have got an amazing range of cruelty-free, vegan products; Never Mind The Ballistics is one of them. I got this bath bomb for my birthday, it’s from the Lush Christmas range and I was so excited to use it.
I’d like to think that the name was inspired by the Sex Pistols’ album, especially because Lush describes it as an ‘anarchic bath bomb’.
The pink and yellow bomb looks a bit like a rhubarb and custard sweet, but smells of citrusy sherbet as it’s made with orange and lime. Lush says that the citrus keeps ‘spirits bright’ and helps you feel refreshed.
Dropping it into a bubble bath, it’s hypnotising to watch it roll and fizz as the yellow and pink swirls through the water until it becomes the colour of Irn Bru. Yes, Irn Bru. Only the Irn Bru is super soft due to the cocoa butter element aimed at softening the water, and your skin.
That was one of the most relaxing baths I’ve had in a long time, I definitely need to treat myself to a de-stressing, anxiety-reducing Lush bath more often. My skin feels so silky and I smell zesty fresh; definitely the wake up I needed before Christmas.
