I’ll start off by telling you this absolutely beautiful playsuit is from PRIMARK. Yes, I know. Primark have really pulled it out of the bag with this little beauty at just £13. The day after buying it I saw three other girls wearing it on a night out too, confirming to me that it is a gorgeous piece. Wearing it in Manchester got me a few compliments; one from the lady in Home Bargains, another from our waitress at The Botanist and another from the girl working in Urban Outfitters. It’s the first time in a long time I’ve felt really good about the way I look and felt confident in my outfit, and couldn’t help but reply to the compliments with ‘thank you, it’s from Primark!’, which was greeted back with ‘no way!’.
This yellow little number if perfect for the upcoming warm weather with its blushed florals and floaty sleeves, so I decided to wear it all day in Manchester, but switching up my look a touch for a day look and an alternative night look.
Through the day I wore this playsuit with cute white frilly socks and white converse for comfort purposes – my white chucks always come out of the box for summer! I was carrying all of my stuff for the weekend, and so my plum Kanken was my bag of choice as it matched some of the tones in the playsuit as well as being practical. To accessorise I wore a pink velvet choker, matching the accents in the playsuit, as well as a blushed nail polish, similarly coloured L’Oreal lipstick and a rosey eyeshadow using a combination of my Modern Renaissance palette and Kate Moss x Rimmel Sculpting palette.
For my evening look I swapped my converse for my navy Kurt Geiger heels, as there’s a touch of blue in the playsuit. I also swapped my pink choker for a diamante choker for added glitz alongside the shoes. I darkened up my makeup with more of the shade ‘love letter’ from the Modern Renaissance palette, a classic cat eye and went for a deeper lip shade. I left my rucksack in the Travelodge and took out my little white New Look purse which is the perfect size for your phone and money.
It’s that simple. One statement playsuit and then just switch up the shoes, jewellery and bag – you don’t necessarily have to change your makeup either.
