It’s official. Summer is over. Get out the jumpers and the velvet. Bring me the cosy blankets and hot chocolates. I’m well feeling the autumnal vibes so I’ve popped together a little outfit, perfect for the mild weather and walking through crunchy leaves.
Roll Neck – Dorothy Perkins – is there anything they don’t go with? Skirts, jeans, pinafores and this adorable little swing dress I’m wearing.
Swing dress – New Look – in summer you can get away with this with a little white tee, but it’s much better suited to autumn due to the colours matching that of autumn leaves. I’ve worn it belted to cinch my waist in, but it looks lovely floaty too. I also wore some opaque tights, as tights are a key A/W wardrobe piece.
Velvet Chelsea Boots – Topshop – Velvetttttttt. Yesssssss. These are the comfiest little boots ever and are perfect for the season.
Bag – Topshop – This was a gift for my birthday about 2 years ago and it’s served me so well. Definitely mu go-to handbag as it fit’s so much stuff in it.
Earrings – City Pixie (Depop) – I spotted these handmade tassel earrings on Depop and knew I needed them. So I got orange, black, and yellow so that I have pairs to wear all year round. These were only £5 for 3 pairs. I’m definitely going to build my collection of funky earrings up.
I can’t wait to put together some more cosy outfits over the next few months, so keep an eye out on the blog. What’s your autumn wardrobe essentials?
