Working at Boots certainly has its perks. One of which is getting a sneak peak at new stock first, so when I saw this Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lipsticks in the delivery, I knew I wanted to try some.
I first got the pink/nude shade Blush when my brother’s girlfriend didn’t like the shade, so I brought it off her. I loved the formula so much I grabbed myself another 3 on 3 for 2 at Boots. Considering they’re only £5.99 each, it was a bargain as they’re so cheap. Maybeline’s latest line of liquid lipsticks set you back £9.99 each!
So the shades I have here are Plum This Show (red), Blush (pink), Midnight (purple) and Moca (nude). I decided on two nude shades, one with a more pink undertone and one a little warmer, and two deeper autumnal shades with a red and purple shade. Something for every occasion, right?
Now for everyone’s favourite part – the swatches:
And here’s how they look on:
I wore Moca all day and can honestly say I love the creamy formula – to prevent drying, pop on a bit of your favourite lipbalm before applying the Rimmel product. It lasts all day and withstands food and drink (tried and tested with free Domino’s pizza at Freshers). For such a good price I am so impressed and I’m really tempted to get the shades Shadow and Blue Ivy too. You will certainly be finding Plum This Show and Midnight in my Fave Autumnal Lipsticks post in October and I’m gonna be wearing the hell out of them over the next few months.
Have you tried these yet? If so what’s your favourite shade?
