Blogmas Day 6: Lush Magic Wand

Is it even Blogmas without a Christmas Lush special thrown in? Here’s what I have to say on the Magic Wand Bubble Bar.

Aesthetically, it’s bloody adorable, right? Pink, glitter, cute little ribbon and a jingle bell – it don’t get more festive than that!

If you’re a fan of the Snow Fairy range, or the Bubblegum Lip Scrub, then you’ll love this product, as it has the same sweet fragrance that Buddy the Elf would devour with maple syrup.

To create an avalanche of bubbles, just hold the wand under the tap as you draw your bath. The bath will fill with a blanket of bubbles and the water turns a sweet dusty pink colour.

I think the idea behind these bubble bars is great as you don’t need to crumble it under the tap, so it avoids burning yourself on the hot water. The design also means that it’s easy to reuse and easy to store.

Whilst I was in the bath, I left the wand on a soap dish so that the excess water could drip off/evapourate. It was able to go straight back into it’s original bag after the bath, however if you also have something like a toothbrush cup, you could probably stand it up in something like that to store.

A hot bath with sugary sweet bubbles is definitely the best way to end a long day at work. I was reading up on the wand and one customer said that it lasted her for 10 baths, so at £5.95, you definitely get your money’s worth out of it.

I’d 100% use more products like this, Lush also sell one called The Magic Of Christmas which has a much more traditional Christmas scent of cinnamon and orange which I’d love to try, too.

Beff xx
