How bloody quickly has this come around? It’s Christmas TOMORROW!
*Spoiler alert* Tomorrows post is going to be about my family’s Christmas routine, but similarly, I have a routine of sorts for Christmas Eve too. Just some simple little things that make me feel cosy, get a good nights sleep, and get ready for Christmas.
This Christmas Eve, I’m working until 4:30 (boo you Christmas in retail), which is going to be absolutely rammed with lads doing their Boots 3 for 2 Christmas shopping because they’ve left it last minute.
After the busiest day of the year (so far… I pity anyone working the Boxing Day sales), I get myself home in time for some food and a well-deserved cup of tea.
We’ll then go and visit my Dad’s mum to give her her Christmas present and have a little drink (Nan loves a G&T). Considering I know my Nan isn’t going to see this, I’ll let you all know what I’ve brought her. I’ve named a star after my Granddad for her, as he passed away back in February, and I think she’s going to love it.
I’ll then go home and have a bath, with an obligatory Lush bath bomb from the Christmas collection – my personal favourite is Golden Wonder, it’s like a gift from me, to me.
After my bath I’ll put on some super cosy pyjamas and do a bit of a pampering skincare session with a nice exfoliator and face mask.
Then it’s time to pop the Christmas tree lights on, grab a blanket, some snacks and a hot chocolate and stick a Christmas film on.
I’ll try to sleep as early as possible for the long, exciting day ahead!
Merry Christmas everyone, tomorrow I’ll be telling you all what I usually do on Christmas Day!
Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
