It’s tradition to set yourself some New Years’ Resolutions. It’s like when your diet fails on Friday and you decide the diet can wait until Monday… You get to November and everything starts going downhill and you think ‘we can start fresh in January.
I’ve turned my New Year goals into a little mind map. I find physically writing down your goals makes you more likely to achieve them.
I’ve also included a blank mindmap for you guys to save, print and add your own goals if you wish.
A little tip: make your goals achievable. Don’t be too unrealistic. By all means challenge yourself, but don’t set yourself a goal you know you will never, ever reach because you’ll feel rubbish about it. Smaller, more attainable goals will boost your mood and make you feel like you’re making positive changes, and you are, one small step at a time.
So last year, my goals were mainly passing my driving test (which I did!), saving more money (I opened a savings account!) and keeping myself out of hospital (done, done and done). This year, my goals are slightly different… and are separated into smaller categories too.
And here’s a blank map for you to add your own!
