Christmas Film Advent Calendar – Blogmas Day 1

This Christmas, I’m not bothering with an advent calendar. I eat chocolate for breakfast most days, so I don’t need to do it to count down to the big day or to make me feel more festive.

Instead, I’m taking an hour or two out of my day to get into the Christmas spirit with a holiday movie.

In the run up to Christmas, I’m going to sit down with my parents, pour a mulled gin, snuggle up to the dogs and watch a Christmas film. To make sure we don’t miss out anyone’s favourite, we’ve devised this Christmas film advent calendar.

We will probably watch them in no particular order, crossing each off the list as we go.

My personal favourites are The Grinch, Muppet’s Christmas Carol and Elf. I hadn’t watched Love Actually or The Holiday until last year, so I am excited to watch both of those again, too. I’m not entirely convinced Die Hard should be on the list – but hey, I guess it’s the marmite of Christmas movies.

This is my Christmas Film Advent Calendar – I’d love if you guys would join in too!
