I have an entry in my phone’s ‘Notes’ app where the products I plan to feature in my monthly favourites get swapped and changed almost every week as new launches hit my desk, or I rediscover a gem of a beauty find. This month, not only is my round up early (sorry, I simply couldn’t wait) but it’s filled exclusively with brand new products that have been released in the last seven weeks.

In this post, I’ll take you through the hottest new innovations from some of my all-time favourite names, including cult-loved heroes like Nars and Laura Mercier, plus one budget-friendly cosmetics brand that’s only recently hit the UK, but has already made a big impact.

Whether you’re in the market for a new signature scent, an autumnal haircare upgrade, or a plumping gloss that finally doesn’t tingle, these are the products that have impressed me most and are worth adding to your wishlist.

Laura Mercier Translucent Hydrating Setting Spray Ultra-Blur – £32

I wasn’t loyal to a setting powder until I found Laura Mercier’s translucent loose setting powder, which is, quite frankly, the industry benchmark – so a setting spray with the same flawless, blurring effect had me practically giddy.

Unlike Huda Beauty’s Easy Bake setting spray which launched earlier this year (which truthfully, I didn’t love), this isn’t Laura Mercier’s first attempt at a mist. It is, however, very different from their translucent pure setting spray – though it’s notable absence from the usual beauty stockists would suggest this product is being quietly phased out in place of its more refined counterpart.

Launched on August 1, Ultra-Blur does exactly what its name promises. The powered-by-air continuous spray locks makeup in place and promises to be smudge, transfer, crease, fade and waterproof. Unlike many longwear sprays, the formula is 98.5% skincare-based and delivers 24 hour hydration while imparting a soft-focus effect. It even controls shine, with a truly translucent, natural finish that never feels sticky nor wet. Perfection.

NARS The Multiple – £33

Few products have earned the title of ‘icon’ quite like NARS’s The Multiple, with the cream stick having graced cheekbones, eyelids and lips since the early 2000s. The new reformulation launched on August 26, boasting improved blendability and a fresh collection of shades that feel both modern and versatile.

It’s already been a major hit on the red carpet, with stars like Frankie Bridge and Molly-Mae Hague having worn it for the National Television Awards earlier this month. Enriched with Vitamin E, the payoff is creamy, the finish seamless and the subtle sparkle? Stunning. It may have had a serious glow up, but the product retains that easy-to-use, swipe-and-go spirit that made it a makeup bag essential in the first place.

I’ve been wearing the shade Orgasm Crave which is a peachy pink with a gold pearl shimmer. It’s got a cream-to-powder texture which allows it to stay put all day, and I love that you can apply it directly to cheeks or pre-blend on the back of your hand for a more diffused look. It really is one of those products that can be considered the ultimate on-the-go essential.

Merit Beauty Great Skin Double Cleanse Face Wash – £32

Minimalist beauty brand Merit has quietly been taking over my makeup bag since Spring (discover why here). I adore their beginner-friendly makeup formulas that feel like skincare – and now they’ve turned their hand to cleansing.

I’ll admit, I’m not usually a fan of foaming cleansers – but this one is different. A staple in my evening routine since August 12, the Great Skin Double Cleanse is a bi-phase wash that sloughs away sunscreen, foundation and general daily grime in one step. It melts away makeup like an oil cleanser but rinses off as cleanly as a gel, leaving no residue behind.

Fragrance-free, dermatologist-tested and pH-balanced, it also contains a mild PHA to gently exfoliate the skin, making it soft, smooth and primed for makeup From a brand that loves multi-tasking products, I would have expected nothing less than an easy to use, fuss free product that takes the stress out of skincare.

Lush Sticky Dates Hair Primer – £15

As someone who adored Lush’s Super Milk Hair Primer, I was delighted to discover it’s had a delicious upgrade for autumn. Inspired by one of the cosmetics company’s most-loved shower gels, the new Sticky Dates Hair Primer brings a warm gourmand sweetness that’s ideal for cosy season.

Launched as part of the festive collection in September, the formula is just as impressive as the fragrance. Almond, coconut and oat milks deliver lightweight hydration, while date syrup helps hair lock in moisture.

It costs £15 for the smaller spray and £28 for the larger size and honestly, this is the kind of product that seemingly lasts forever and is well worth the money. It detangles, conditions and makes your hair smell like dessert – what more could you ask for?

Phlur Cherry Stem Eau de Parfum – £99

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I have never met a Phlur fragrance that I didn’t love, and their latest Cherry Stem is up there as one of the best. Continuing a theme we’ve seen in beauty throughout 2025, from the Elemis Black Cherry Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm to Glossiers Balm Dot Com Black Cherry, the Phlur fragrance carries the trending scent into the autumn months.

It opens with a boozy-sweet burst of black cherry and orange brandy before moving into sugared jasmine, plum nectar and red freesia. The dry down boasts flavours of ebony woods, caramel and soft leather for a sultry, addictive finish that makes it perfect for date night.

While a full-sized bottle will set you back £99, the 9.5ml bottles are priced at a more reasonable £32 and are perfect for trialling a fragrance before committing to a full size. They’re also perfect for anyone who likes to regularly rotate their signature scent – and they do last a surprisingly long time as the perfume scarcely needs reapplying.

SheGlam Pout-Perfect Shine Lip Plumper – £4.99

I hadn’t actually heard of SheGlam until it launched in the UK exclusively at Boots back in August. Since trying a selection of their products in celebration of their arrival this side of the pond, I’ve since gone on to stock up on a multitude of their insanely affordable but effective formulas, including liquid contours, blushes, mascaras and primers.

I could literally write an entire post about SheGlam, but the product I’ve been reaching for most frequently is their Pout-Perfect Shine Lip Plumper – a budget-friendly, tingle-free lip product that delivers a glassy, high-shine pout without the stinging sensation often associated with plumping products.

I’ve been wearing the shade Sepia Kiss, which is a medium nude brown with a shimmer finish. It’s infused with coconut oil, keeps lips moisturised and comfortable, and because it’s in a soft, melty twist-up solid wand instead of a liquid, it makes on-the-go touch-ups almost mess-proof. Everyone I know is getting one of these as a Christmas stocking filler.
