Looking for a delicious dessert cocktail to devour on Valentine’s Day? Look no further than this Eton Mess gin cocktail!
Whether you’re in lockdown with your lover, celebrating apart from your other half, or getting together for Galentine’s, this fun and creamy cocktail is the perfect way to sip the night away.
Jake and I are separated by Covid-19 restrictions this year, meaning we’re unable to celebrate our five year anniversary and Valentine’s Day together. Instead of wining and dining, we’ll be having a virtual date with this Eton Mess gin cocktail and snacks instead.
So whilst on your next essential shopping trip, be sure to add these ingredients into your basket.
Eton Mess gin cocktail ingredients:
- 25ml Gin
- 25ml Irish Cream Liqueur
- 25ml strawberry gin liqueur
- 15ml lemon juice
- 15ml double cream
- Raspberry syrup
- Strawberries
My shaker was from Not on the High Street, and my jogger and bar spoon are from Vemacity (gifted).
I’m using Pennington’s Lakeland Moon Snowfell Gin for this recipe, but whichever is your favourite will work. This one was part of the Craft Gin Club January box. To a shaker muddle a few strawberries and add ice. Add 25ml gin to 25ml of Irish Cream Liqueur (mine’s M&S) and 25ml of Bloom strawberry gin liqueur, followed by 15ml of lemon juice, 15ml of double cream and 15ml of Raspberry syrup.
Shake well, and strain into a coupe glass ready to enjoy! This cocktail is super creamy, sweet from the strawberries, gin and syrup, but sharp from the Irish cream and lemon. Delicious.
