Five reasons why you need to book tickets to an unmissable Trentham Live 2024

Trentham Live is back for 2024 following three hugely successful years, promising an unforgettable weekend of live music, street food and memories in a breathtaking outdoor setting.

Originally launched in 2021, the festival-style event has often been held from Friday to Sunday, hosting huge name acts like McFly, Craig David, Steps and The Vamps.

This year, Trentham Live returns with an incredible line up of artists from Thursday, August 15 to Sunday, August 18, with four fantastic acts – plus special guests – booked for what is undoubtedly the biggest gig of the year for Staffordshire.

The sprawling 725-acre beauty spot will host some of the biggest and best-loved music stars, with a diverse lineup with something for all music tastes across the generations.

If you’ve not already booked your spot at Trentham Live, here are five reasons why you should buy a ticket and join in on the fun.

A fantastic line up

Trentham Live 2024 boasts an impressive roster of renowned artists from various genres. Whether you’re a fan of energetic pop-rock anthems or infectious dance beats, there’s something for everyone.

With performances by Deacon Blue, Jess Glynne, Manic Street Preachers, Busted, and more, the festival offers a diverse range of musical styles and guaranteed crowd-pleasers.

In addition to the main headliners, Trentham Live 2024 brings together a host of talented musicians to support, with some very special guests like Public Service Broadcasting and Lightning Seeds.

This year, the lineup consists of:

  • Thursday 15 August – Deacon Blue supported by Lightning Seeds and Hue & Cry
  • Friday 16 August – Jess Glynne supported by Sam Tompkins and Special Guest Nathan Dawe
  • Saturday 17 August – Manic Street Preachers supported by Public Service Broadcasting and The Anchoress
  • Sunday 18 August – Busted supported by Soap and Dadi Freyr

I got to see McFly at 2022’s Trentham Live, with support from Scouting For Girls, and it was truly one of the highlights of my year watching them perform Obviously and Five Colours In Her Hair. Last year, I went to see Feeder with support from Jake Bugg and The Feeling – you can read my full review of the night here. And in 2024, I’m definitely eyeing up that Busted gig after watching them at the AO Arena last year.

Picturesque Outdoor Setting

One of the standout features of Trentham Live is its unparalleled outdoor setting. The 725-acre estate provides a breathtaking backdrop for the festival, creating a truly immersive experience. Surrounded by nature and lush greenery, you’ll be able to enjoy the music in a serene and picturesque environment.

Even walking through the gardens to the stage area on the Events Field on the outskirts of the historic gardens feels like part of the experience in itself. The open-air stage allows for a vibrant atmosphere where you can soak up the music under the starry night sky after sundown, making Trentham Live a very distinctive event.

Exceptional Value for Money

Attending Trentham Live offers incredible entertainment and value for money for music lovers. With five consecutive days of performances, Trentham Live have ensured that every ticket holder gets their money’s worth with an unforgettable weekend of music and fun.

General admission tickets for all of the events come in at £52.95 regardless of who you’re going to see, and include entry into The Trentham Estate on the day of the event.

There are also Golden Circle and VIP tickets available for £76.45 and £117.60 respectively, which gains access to various different areas of the venue.

Alternatively, if you simply can’t pick which gig you want to go to – why not go to all of them? Trentham Live are offering a four-day festival pass which starts at £201.60, saving around £10 on general admission tickets compared to buying them separately.

You’ll be able to see 12 artists at a cost of approximately £16.80 each – which is insane value.

Fantastic food and drink

Just like any other festival like Tramlines or Bingley Weekender, Trentham Live offers an array of food and drink stalls so no matter what you’ve got a hankering for, you’ll be able to find something that takes your fancy on the menu.

Typically, there’s pizza stalls, burger joints and fully licensed drinks bars, as well as somewhere to grab something sweet. Last year I had a spicy chicken burger for around £7 and a bag of those hot and sugary mini doughnuts for a fiver. The prices are always reasonable for the event, and the vendors are top notch.

All of the food stalls cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free diets, too, making sure everyone can enjoy a bite before or during the show.

The Sense of Community

Music festivals have a magical way of bringing people together, fostering a sense of community and shared experiences. Trentham Live offers the opportunity to connect with fellow music enthusiasts, make new friends, and create lasting memories. Whether you’re attending with a group of friends or going solo, the festival’s vibrant atmosphere will make you feel part of something really special.

Trentham Live 2024 promises to be an extraordinary music event, combining an exceptional lineup, a unique outdoor setting, and a vibrant atmosphere. With four days of incredible performances by renowned artists, attending this festival is an opportunity you won’t want to miss, or you’ll end up with some serious FOMO.

Mark your calendars, grab your tickets, and get ready for an unforgettable weekend filled with fantastic music and energy. Trentham Live 2024 is where magic happens, and you’ll want to be there to experience it firsthand.
