From their bubblegum-pink packaging to their tongue-in-cheek product names and nostalgic scents, Soap & Glory has become synonymous with gifting season, being a go-to choice for mums, sisters, aunts, nieces, mother-in-laws, friends, nans – just about everyone, really. Their advent calendars have become a must-have in the run-up to Christmas, both for devotees of the brand, and for shoppers looking for cost-effective stocking fillers.

This year’s festive countdown is The House of Glory 24 Day Advent Calendar – a three-tier tower for treats priced at £48, but worth £92.69. Guaranteed to delight fans of the brand’s playful pamper products, shoppers can currently save an extra 10% with code ADVENT10 online, taking the price down to £43.20 – that’s £1.80 per product.

Much like previous years, this advent calendar is packed to the brim with 24 days of skincare, bodycare and fragrance favourites, with no filler products in sight (a refreshing change when so many calendars bulk out the contents with nail files and hair bobbles). Inside, you’ll find a mix of cult classics like Hand Food, Clean On Me and Heel Genius, alongside Christmas exclusives and seasonal scents designed to carry you through party season and cosy nights in.

Fragrance lovers will be spoilt for choice with a trio of Soap & Glory’s most-loved scents: the iconic Original Pink, the fruity and tropical Call of Fruity, and this year’s festive limited edition, Berry & Bright. The inclusion of rollerball perfumes and a body mist means you can carry these scents with you wherever you go, while bath fizzers and candles make for indulgent at-home rituals.

When it comes to skincare, Soap & Glory hasn’t disappointed, with a well-rounded line-up that goes beyond their body butters and scrubs. You’ll get the Puffy Eye Attack Under-Eye Patches (a lifesaver for tired December mornings) and the Speed Plump Hydrating Day Lotion – great all-rounders to slot into your routine. Add in a selection of masks – from lip and eye hydrogel masks to sheet masks like The Fab Pore – and you’ve got a pamper session for every occasion.

The product that impressed me most has to be the Cloud of Dreams Whipped Night Cream. It comes in a k-beauty style pump dispenser which delivers the perfect amount of moisturiser in a cute flower shape. But the actual formula is just heavenly, packed with Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin B5, Ceramides, Shea and Cocoa Butter for a thick, barrier-protecting cream that works overnight to hydrate and repair.

Here’s everything inside the Soap and Glory advent calendar:

At £43.20 on offer, this advent calendar offers fantastic value at over double the worth of its contents, and sits firmly in the budget-friendly beauty bracket. While I would have loved to see some of Soap & Glory’s newer launches like Wild Cherry or Vanilla-licious make an appearance, the variety and balance of products across bodycare, skincare and fragrance still makes it a great festive pick.
