When it comes to skincare, few brands understand hydration like Laneige. It’s no secret that Korean skincare is a huge trend right now, but it’s not without good reason, and brands like Laneige have been leading the charge. Having undertaken more than 25 years of research into water science, they’ve not only mastered the art of deep, lasting moisture that delivers dewy, bouncy skin, but have created some seriously cult-loved products, too. From their Lip Sleeping Mask to the celeb-loved Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturiser, these are some of the Laneige products I’m totally hooked on.
Lip Sleeping Mask – £21
Key Ingredients: Shea Butter, Murumuru Butter, Coconut Oil, Vitamin C
This little jar of magic is sold every five seconds, and it’s easy to see why. Part of their appeal is the endless flavours, where you can either pick your favourite, or collect them all. I’ve only ever tried the Berry version of the Lip Sleeping Mask – packed with Berry Fruit Complex, Murumuru Butter, and Shea Butter – but I’d also love to try the vanilla scent, or some of the limited edition releases.
The Lip Sleeping Mask intensely nourishes and softens lips overnight for visibly smoother, baby-soft lips in the AM. Providing eight hours of hydration, it’s earned consistent awards and become a real fan-favourite
I personally love how juicy and glossy this makes my lips look. The delicious scent and flexible applicator makes it an absolute treat to apply, and sometimes I even wear it during the day instead of lip gloss. It’s the perfect fix for dry, chapped lips, and a must-have in any routine.
Water Sleeping Mask – £28
Key Ingredients: Hyaluronic Acid, Squalane, Niacinamide
Selling one every 11 seconds worldwide, the Water Sleeping Mask is a Korean skincare staple, designed to drench your skin in hydration while you sleep. Formulated with Niacinamide, Squalane, and a probiotic-derived complex, the world-first leave-on hel mask helps repair the skin barrier and boost radiance.
I tend to use this when my skin feels like it needs a serious hydration boost. After my evening skincare routine, I’ll apply it evenly across my face, leave it on overnight and rinse it off in the morning. At first, the texture feels a little odd, but trust me, the results are worth it. Every time I use this, I wake up to plumper, softer, and more refreshed skin. It’s perfect for an overnight skin reset.
I also think this is a really well-priced product from Laneige. At £28, the pot is generous size and offers over 30 applications, and comes with a spatula for mess-free application. For me, it’s the ultimate overnight treatment for quenching thirsty skin.
Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturiser – £33.50
Key Ingredients: Blue Hyaluronic Acid, Ceramide, Squalane
I’ve nearly finished my jar of the Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream, and I already know I’ll be repurchasing. A favourite in the beauty bags of Molly-Mae Hague and Sydney Sweeney, this moisturiser is incredibly hydrating, lightweight, and provides a gorgeous base for makeup applications.
The Blue Hyaluronic Acid works to firm the skin, while the Pepta-Panthenol Complex and Squalene helps strengthen the moisture barrier and deliver a healthy, hydrated glow. What’s even better? It’s hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested and sensitive-skin-friendly, coming in a refillable pod, which the brand says reduces plastic consumption by 70% compared to buying a whole new jar.
Bouncy & Firm Eye Sleeping Mask – £28
Key Ingredients: Caffeine, Niacinamide, Peony & Collagen Complex
If you’re looking for an overnight eye treatment, the Bouncy & Firm Eye Sleeping Mask is a game-changer. Inspired by the Korean ‘slow-ageing’ skincare trend, it works to depuff and firm skin around the eyes.
Formulated with Peony-Collagen Complex, Caffeine, and Niacinamide, this mask plumps the delicate under-eye area and helps blur fine lines over time, making it a must-have for anyone battling dark circles or tired eyes. The whipped gel texture is absolutely gorgeous, delivering a cooling sensation that makes it especially nice to use in the summer months. Fragrance and silicone free, it glides on smoothly without feeling heavy and it ideal for anyone with sensitive skin, too.
Cream Skin Cerapeptide Toner and Moisturiser – £29.50
Key ingredients: Ceramides, Peptides, White Leaf Tea
If you love hydration-packed skincare but prefer a minimalist routine, the Laneige Cream Skin Cerapeptide Toner & Moisturiser has fast become a favourite in my routine. This 2-in-1 formula combines the lightweight freshness of a toner with the deep nourishment of a moisturiser, making it perfect for dry and dehydrated skin.
Formulated with Ceramides and Peptides, this innovative treatment locks in moisture and visibly firms the skin, while White Leaf Tea provides a calming and antioxidant-rich boost. The result? Skin that feels soft, plump, and prepped for makeup—without the need for multiple steps.
The texture is lightweight yet deeply hydrating, making it ideal for days when you want to streamline your routine without sacrificing moisture. Whether you use it as a hydrating toner or a standalone moisturiser, this do-it-all formula is a must-try.
Final Thoughts: Is Laneige Worth It?
If hydration is your top priority, this K-beauty brand is absolutely worth the hype. Laneige proves that when it comes to skincare, hydration is everything—and they’ve truly mastered it, with their products delivering on every promise.
If you fancy trying some of the products above, but don’t want to pay full price for full sizes, I highly recommend this Icons To Go set, which is currently on sale at Beauty Bay for under £20. It contains travel-friendly versions of all of the above – save for the eye cream – making for a great introduction to the brand’s bestsellers. You can buy the set here.
