There are few things that signal the arrival of the festive season quite like unboxing a beauty advent calendar – and once again, Glossybox has reliably delivered something seriously impressive for 2025. Retailing at £90 (£75 for subscribers) and boasting a whopping £624+ in product value, this year’s advent calendar is one of the best beauty buys of the season, saving shoppers an impressive 85% off the RRP – higher than any other I’ve seen.
What I love about Glossybox calendars is that there’s always more inside than meets the eye. Inside its 25 boxes are 27 beauty treats from some of the most loved names in the industry, including Natasha Denona, Medik8, Rituals, and Aveeno. Whether you’re treating yourself or someone special, this calendar will absolutely turn December into a month-long pamper session.
Glossybox has a knack for creating calendars that feel like keepsakes, and this year’s design doesn’t disappoint. A chic treasure chest-style box opens to reveal individually numbered boxes, and can easily be upcycled into storage for art supplies, hair accessories and more.
The 2025 edit isn’t just packed with big names, but it’s carefully curated too, balancing high-end picks with practical everyday staples. Of the 27 products, 19 are full sized, and the rest are deluxe minis that still feel pretty generous.
I particularly appreciate the inclusion of a full-sized perfume in this calendar, which I felt LookFantastic’s was missing. I tried Commodity’s Milk+ last year, so I was excited to see the large bottle of its sister scent, Milk Expressive, in Glossybox’s countdown. Worth £68, i t’s a really cosy and comforting fragrance where Cold Milk adds a cooling element to an otherwise rich and warm fragrance of Marshmallow, Mahogany and Tonka Bean.
Other highlights include a full sized Natasha Denona Glam Face Palette, worth £60, which is perfect for both everyday and more glam looks, so will get a lot of use throughout the party season and into 2026. I’m also always glad to see a Medik8 product (I’m yet to try one I haven’t loved) and the Daily Refreshing Balancing Toner is a great, gentle alternative to my Press and Glow.
And since Jake and I will hopefully be moving into our new home soon, I’ll be saving the Rituals The Ritual of Sakura Mini Fragrance Sticks for when I decorate. They’re the perfect calming scent for a bedroom or bathroom. Even the more affordable inclusions are worthwhile, like the Glow Hub Lip Slick Collagen Up Beauty Balm in TuTu – a very cute and practical stocking filler.
