Every year, I look forward to seeing what Rituals will dream up for its advent calendars. Over the past few seasons, the brand has become something of a frontrunner in the wellbeing category, with self-care and stunning scents designed to elevate everyday rituals.
Last year’s Classic Advent Calendar, styled like an Amsterdam canal house, was one of my favourites, with a perfectly balanced mix of bath, body, and home essentials that brought genuine joy all the way through December. For 2025, Rituals has given its most affordable calendar a total design overhaul, swapping out the townhouse façade for a hanging wreath that doubles as décor. It’s festive, elegant, and absolutely jam-packed with Rituals favourites prime for pampering or gifting.
The Ritual of Advent Classic Wreath Calendar arrives in muted green and gold tones, ready to hang on a wall or lie flat as a centrepiece. There are 24 compartments to open throughout the month, each one holding a travel-friendly product that fits perfectly within Rituals’ soothing, self-care ethos. I found it particularly satisfying that many of the products inside maintain the red, green and gold colour scheme, making for an edit that feels really thoughtful and cohesive.
This year’s countdown is priced at £103, with a total product value of £164.50. There’s also a Deluxe version (£137.90, worth £196), but the Classic offers stronger value overall. With the more premium offering, you’re effectively paying around £30 more, and getting that same amount back in products. For anyone new to the brand, or those who simply love Rituals formulas, the wreath is more than enough to spark festive cheer.
Rituals has struck a great balance between body care, skincare, haircare and home fragrance, creating a comprehensive self-care edit. If you’ve followed my advent calendar reviews over the years, you’ll know that in my house, Rituals products rarely last long – my mum and sister-in-law are equally devoted, and the fight for anything from the Jing collection starts early. Inside you’ll find favourites like The Ritual of Jing Foaming Shower Gel, Overnight Body Mask, Body Cream and Pillow and Body Mist featuring notes of lotus flower and jujube.
There’s also a mix of products from the Ritual of Ayurveda collection, which smells of Indian rose and sweet almond oil, with the calendar containing Shower Oil, Dry Oil and hand balm in the signature scent. And the Ritual of Karma Shimmering Body Oil is a must-have for glowing skin during party season.
If you love long, hot baths by candlelight, there are four mini candles to create the ultimate restful atmosphere, as well as the Hammam Black Soap, a trio of Elixir Collection Haircare (shampoo, conditioner and keratin mask), all of which are ideal for travel or post-festive repair. Everything inside is under 100ml, which is ideal for discovering new favourites without committing to full sizes, and they make excellent stocking fillers if you decide to share.
I have a soft spot for the Scent Booster & Softener in Sakura, as it’s one of those little luxuries that instantly upgrades daily chores. I’m saving this one for when we get the house so that I can wash my bed linen and dressing gown in it.

The Ritual of Advent Classic Wreath Calendar 2025 is beautifully designed and filled with products that actually get used and loved. Small swaps (from micellar water to face masks) make a big difference in enhancing your daily routine, which, for me, is exactly what festive self-care should be about.
