I got my first watch for my eighteenth birthday. There’s barely a day that goes by that I don’t wear one now. Since starting university, I’ve been a big believer in that you’re never fully dressed without a smile and a watch. Every successful business woman has one – they have an air of elegance and professionalism. A watch says ‘Yeah, I’ve got my shit together’. I’ve built up a small collection, adding one each year since, and I’ve just ordered a beautiful white leather watch box for them to live in.
My latest addition is a Modu watch (gifted), a British brand that launched late last year in November 2018. The brand is doing things a little differently, which is why I love the brand. Modu watches are made for trendsetters, designed with British street-style of young, rebellious individuals in mind. Instead of simply buying a new watch, you get a say in the creative design to make it totally personal to you.
First, you select your watch face. There are 10 faces to choose from, with a selection of black, white and rose gold faces with a black, silver or rose gold edge. My watch face is the Rosetta (£69.99), which is rose gold on rose gold – could I be any more blogger?
You then get a choice of three different straps which best compliment the face. These come in different meshes and genuine leathers. One of the recommended straps for the Rosetta was the Peach Leather strap, which is what I chose for my watch. I love to wear this with muted tones like blush and grey and it feels very girly.
There is then the option to add a second strap for £14.99, which it definitely worth it. Switching a watch strap transforms it into a totally different watch, so it’s like getting two watches for under £85, which is an absolute bargain.
I selected the Navy Leather strap, as I have a navy leather Pandora bracelet that it would match. I also have a pair of navy Paradox London block heeled sandals on the way, which feature a rose gold ring detail – it’s like they were made for each other.
The watch comes in a simple, white Modu branded box. In fact, the watch itself features rather simple branding, with Modu written quite small just below the 12 mark. It’s minimalistic and sleek which is perfect for me. The straps are super easy to change, with a little lever that you pull to release the strap. Modu make it easy for you to continuously update your look with new straps, which you can match to each outfit or occasion.
This post contains gifted products but all opinions are my own.
This sounds like a great idea-I love the idea of alternating watch straps too!
Love that nude strap! Looks lovely with the rose bezel
I love this idea… I’m such a watch girl and love to have a few options when I’m not wearing my oh so sexy Fitbit!

This is actually a really good idea, I rarely wear a watch because you can’t change it with your outfits but with this, you can!
What a beautiful watch and I love all the straps. Beautiful pics too lovely x
