Ivy&Ginger is a fabulous small business run by Staffordshire designer Nicky Forrester.
Nicky’s Staffordshire University degree is in 3D Crafts, where she combined wood and silverwork to create fine jewellery pieces inspired by everyday trends.
I’m a huge fan of her work and can spot a pair of her earrings a mine off. My friend Anya regularly sports the Dalmatian spot studs, too.
I am so excited to reveal Ivy & Ginger’s latest collection – in collaboration with yours truly! When Nicky asked if I would like to get involved with a collection inspired by my wardrobe, I jumped at the opportunity.
There are five designs in the collection, which features lots of animal print due to my obsession with big cats and pretty patterns.
Nicky said: “You don’t have to be a beffshuff fan for long before you notice her love of print! She’s not scared of making a statement – she always owns the print!
“This paired with her one of her many signature colours – pink – I brainstormed some ideas.”
And those ideas have been born in the form of this gorgeous collection! You lucky lot can bag 30% off by entering beffshuff30 at the checkout on ivy&ginger.
ivy&ginger x beffshuff tiger – £6.00
I can’t think about tiger print without thinking of Carole Baskin at the moment – but I was definitely sporting the print before Tiger King was released in March!
Some of my favourite tiger print outfits include a Topshop slip dress that I wore for NYE 2018, and some silky pyjamas I bought when lockdown was announced.
The tiger print earrings feature a pink base with gold stripes and gold hardware. These are the only hexagonal pair in the collection and certainly make a statement!
Nicky said: “The pink tiger print dangles were actually inspired by beff’s ‘three ways to style pyjamas’ video! I loved the shine of the silk and the tiger illustrations, so I thought pairing tiger print with pink and gold would be a starting point for the collection.”

ivy&ginger x beffshuff snake skin – £6.00
Snake skin is such a gorgeous print that comes in so many shades and variations. I have some incredible tan snake print boots, as well as a couple of snake skin skirts, a snake print pinafore and some of you have commented on how much you love my snake buckle belt on Instagram.
These black and gold babies are super versatile and can be worn with pretty much anything!
I think these circular earrings would look amazing with a black tux dress, cinched in with my snake belt and snake print boots for a night out!
Nicky added: “I haven’t previously created any snake skin prints, and having seen Beth previously wearing a snake skin skirt I knew this would be a good fit for the collection.”

ivy&ginger x beffshuff hearts- £8.00
Oh hello, a little bit of double trouble! This little duo features two sets of heart shaped earrings inspired by yet more big cats! Leopard print makes up about 80% of my wardrobe, so naturally a pair of leopard earrings were going to feature in this collection.
The pink and red match the colours of my beffshuff logo, and the colour combo is to die for. The fleck of gold really sets them off and they are truly a work of art!
To join these beautiful babes is a set of red hearts with gold accents – these ones remind me of Valentine’s, which is super cute. You could even mix and match the two pairs!
Nicky said: “It’s clear leopard print is a strong contender for Beth, so this print in pink, red and gold in a heart shaped stud were then created.
“I knew pink, red, gold and black would be the link between all the pieces in the collection. I made a red heart with gold accents to go with the pink leopard heart studs as the perfect set.”

ivy&ginger x beffshuff oriental – £6.00
The hand painted pattern on these earrings is so gorgeous. Nicky called this pair ‘oriental’, and they really do have an Asian vibe to them. The pattern actually reminds me of a Koi Carp, as my granddad has a pond of them in his garden. They also remind me of one of my favourite places in my hometown – Biddulph Grange Garden’s China garden.
Nicky added: “These were the last pair to be made and they shout Oriental to me! I used colours already found within the collection for an abstract print and love how they turned out!”

Prices start at £6.00, and the whole collection is under £25! Each pair is lovingly hand painted and sealed by Nicky at home in Staffordshire. Then they’re sent out in recyclable packaging ready to be loved and worn! Which pair will you be snapping up?
Wow such an amazing collab, all the earrings are super pretty and I love how they’re all hand painted! Great photos too. Clare xx | https://clayaa.com
