If you’re looking to give your skincare cupboard a refresh, then REN Skincare is a brand that really needs to be on your radar. Over the years, I’ve tried numerous brands and formulations, and REN Skincare remains up there with some of my favourites.

Founded in 2000 after the founder’s pregnant wife began to experience skin sensitivity, REN is a brand committed to clean, natural ingredients and sustainable practices, which is what sets them apart from others in the industry.

Created with sensitive skin in mind, with ranges suitable for a range of skin types, their feel-good formulas are sustainably packaged, kind to skin, and deliver on their promises, whether that’s brighter under eyes or smoother, glowy skin.

I’ve tried a number of different products across their Evercalm and Radiance ranges, which cater to different skin needs and concerns, offering distinct formulations and ingredients to address specific issues. The Evercalm range is specially formulated to soothe and calm sensitive skin that is prone to irritation, redness, and inflammation. While the Radiance range boasts cult favourites designed to get you glowing, even, smooth glass-looking skin.

Here are some of my favourites from REN Skincare:

Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Gel

If you have sensitive , oily or combination skin the Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Gel is a gentle but effective formula that ticks all the boxes. Formulated with soothing ingredients like Beta-Glucan and reparative prebiotic extract, this cleanser removes impurities without stripping the skin of its natural moisture, leaving it feeling clean and refreshed.

The product is scented with Neroli Oil, giving it a floral, citrus, and herbaceous fragrance that makes it a dream to use. It’s got a gorgeous gel texture and lathers well on the skin and is ideal for helping keep breakouts at bay.

Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic

If you love products like Pixi Glow Tonic or Liz Earle’s Smooth and Glow, then you’ll love REN’s Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic. Infused with alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) derived from lactic acid and willow bark extract, this tonic gently dissolves dead skin cells, revealing smoother, brighter skin underneath.

Long-term, it’s also designed to target dark spots, hyperpigmentation, dullness and uneven skin tone and exfoliates away excess sebum which will make pores appear smaller. It’s a powerful formula that packs a punch, but is still gentle enough for daily use and designed to limit irritation.

Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask with AHA

When my skin feels like it needs a bit of a boost, I turn to the Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask with AHA. This potent mask combines glycolic, lactic, citric, and tartaric acids to exfoliate and resurface the skin, while papain enzyme brightens and illuminates, leaving my complexion looking fresh and glowy.

It’s so powerful that you only need to use it once a week and after 10 minutes, it provides immediate radiance and smoother, softer skin.

Glow and Protect Serum

Formulated with a blend of antioxidants and vitamins, the Glow and Protect Serum is a multitasking powerhouse that hydrates, protects, and boosts radiance. The lightweight superfruit serum is clinically proven to significantly brighten and even skin in just 14 days and can be worn alone or layered under moisturiser to protect the skin against environmental stressors.

The energising formula combines three types of Vitamin C with moisture-boosting Glycogen and Hyaluronic Acid, for the ultimate radiant glow. While it can be used morning and evening, if you’re making it a part of your day-time routine, be sure to pair it with an SPF.

Brightening Dark Circle Eye Cream

Dark circles have long been a skin concern of mine, but I have seen improvement since using the Brightening Dark Circle Eye Cream from REN. Infused with arnica extract and vitamin C, this lightweight cream brightens dark circles, reduces puffiness, and hydrates the delicate eye area, leaving you looking refreshed and well-rested.

It’s proven to visibly reduce dark circles after just 7 days, and helps to even skin tone, lifts and improves the appearance of firmness. The brand suggest using one pump for both eyes, but I actually still find this to be too much product so often opt for half a pump, which makes it go that little bit further, too.

Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream

Rich and balmy, the Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream is a dreamy moisturiser that locks in your skincare routine and protects skin from environmental aggressors. Enriched with antioxidants and soothing ingredients like beta-glucan and shea butter, this moisturiser provides long-lasting hydration while strengthening the skin’s natural barrier.

Formulated for sensitive and dry skin and also suitable for use on eczema-prone skin, this comforting moisturiser is enriched with nourishing oils, sinks beautifully into the skin and doesn’t feel at all heavy or greasy, which means it also works really well under makeup.

AHA Smart Renewal Body Serum

Our skin is our body’s biggest organ and we typically focus all of our skincare efforts on our face – but not any more. The AHA Smart Renewal Body Serum is a game-changer for achieving smooth, radiant skin from head to toe and let me tell you, this product smells delicious. With a blend of AHAs, probiotics, and hydrating oils, this lightweight serum gently exfoliates and nourishes the skin, leaving it soft, supple, and glowing all over.

Whether you’re looking to address specific skin concerns or simply maintain a healthy, radiant complexion, REN Skincare never fails to deliver with their effective formulations and commitment to clean, sustainable beauty. You can shop their selection of skin and bodycare products here.
