Oh hello there again sheer zebra print top. You may remember this little number from this blog post, where I paired it with a show-stopping teal jumpsuit. I feel like that outfit didn’t really let the zebra mesh tee shine in the way it should, so I’ve styled this safari inspired outfit to help it come into its own.
Who would have thought that one day I would be taking pictures in a restaurant toilet? Fashion blogging is so glamorous, ay? But when the toilets in Dough and Oil are this cool – you have to. You then have to proceed to tell everyone that walks into the loo and looks at you funny that you’re a weirdo, because it’s far easier than telling them you’re an influencer.
This zebra print mesh tee is amazing. It can be tricky to wear sheer, or mesh tops without feeling like Phoebe Buffay showing Chandler her bra. But this one is still opaque enough to look classy.

I keep telling you all than animal print is still in – and I’m not surprised when there is so much you can do with it. I paired zebra print accessories, including this beautiful saddle bag and abstract earrings, from Primark’s SS19 collection which I featured in this haul. Saddle bags have a bit of a festival vibe about them, which I adore. I fell in love with this one in New Look, but it went up in price after coming into store at £15.99, so I think the Primark bag is a lovely alternative to fill my safari animal print needs.
I had been stressing about what to wear on my legs for this outfit. What I wanted was something that would really pull the outfit together. I had considered jeans, but that’s far too boring. A skirt – still too cold seeing as the British weather doesn’t know what it’s doing. Cullottes? Potentially, but I wasn’t sold. That’s when I remembered about these blooming fabulous velvet flares that I bagged in the 2017 Boxing Day sales. They are comfortable, warm, give a gorgeous, elongating shape and have an elasticated waist (for all the pancakes I ate in Dough and Oil).
As the bag has this cute, gold ring detailing on the fastening, I wore this double ring belt from New Look to tie in the accessories. The entire outfit comes in at less than £50, which is a steal. Every piece is versatile and can be worn with pretty much anything.
