Boots have recently been top of the game when it comes to beauty boxes, from the REN Premium Beauty Box to the Indiyah Premium Beauty Box – each one containing products worth at least double, sometimes even triple the price you pay online.
And the latest release from the health and beauty retailer comes in the form of a beauty and fragrance box that costs £30, and is packed with brands like Nars, Liz Earle and Carolina Herrera.
Perfect for Mother’s Day, I ordered the Boots The Icons box on Tuesday, March 6 and it arrived four days later, which gave me nine days to decide whether or not I was actually going to gift it to my mum, or keep it all for myself!
Naturally, I landed on treating mum to the box of pamper goodies (she totally deserved it) – but I did immediately go back online and ordered a second one for myself.
The Boots beauty and fragrance box features six travel-sized products as well as a money-off voucher that’s perfect for perfume lovers. Despite only costing £30, the contents are worth more than twice as much, with the fragrance miniatures racking up a total of £46 alone.
Inside the box is a 10ml mini of the Ghost Orb of Night perfume, as well as Carolina Herrera Good Girl in 7ml, and Jean Paul Gaultier La Belle in 6ml. These are a fantastic way to discover luxury scents at an affordable price point, and they’re the ideal size for throwing in your handbag, car or even in your hand luggage if you’re going away somewhere this Spring.
Carolina Herrera, in particular, is such a popular scent, and a 30ml bottle alone retails at over £50, so it’s a great way to try it before committing to a bigger investment.
There’s also some beautiful skincare and cosmetic products included in the haul, like the Nars Laguna Bronzing Powder that I’ve been desperate to try out, as well as a mini Laura Mercier Rouge Essentiel lipstick in a peachy nude shade. It’s worth noting that these are both miniatures, but that makes them ideal for nights out, as they’ll fit easily into a small clutch or purse.
There’s also a travel sized version of the Liz Earle Cleanse & Glow Transforming Gel Cleanser that I reviewed previously on the blog. This is perfect for throwing in a wash bag for a weekend getaway, so you don’t have to take the full-sized product with you.

The voucher is a fantastic inclusion because it gets you £20 off a 100ml fragrance of your choice – and there doesn’t seem to be a minimum spend on that, so if you shop wisely, you could be in for a free fragrance.
