Four must-have Soap and Glory products

Whether you religiously apply Hand Food, or slather your body in Righteous Butter. For over a decade, women across the UK have been lovers of Soap and Glory and have at least one product lurking in the cupboard (it’s usually Clean On Me). If you haven’t use it yourself, then you’ve definitely bought it for someone at Christmas.

Soap and Glory are an indulgent bathing and beaut brand, and whilst they are a luxe brand, they’re also mega affordable.

I am so excited to announce that I am one of S&G’s #babesofglory and have received a goodie bag of products to try out.

The four must-have products came in this makeup bag that says ‘Glitz & Make-up’. It’s a really decent sized bag that will easily fit in your everyday makeup product plus a few extras. I used it for a hotel stay, and intend to take it to Tramlines festival with me.

Archery D-I-Y Brow Bar (£12.00)

I’m pretty loyal to brow products when I find what I like; gels and pomades are my jam. I’m not much for powders, but that being said, I do actually quite like this little brow bar.

The quad features a wax, a light shade, dark shade and a highlight. The set up isn’t too dissimilar to the brow products in the Smashbox ShapeMatters Palette I’ve used previously. The wax almost acts like a gel, creating a shape and holding brows in place, then you can fill in with the powder and highlight your brow bone.

I feel like this is a really handy travel product, as it won’t take up your liquid allowance and it’s definitely a space saver. It also means you save time as you won’t have to keep switching products when painting on your brows. I probably wouldn’t include it as an everyday makeup product, but it’s defo a handbag product that you can top up your brows with should this heat melt them off!

Supercat Liquid Eyeliner Pen in Carbon Black Extreme (£6.50)

I used to wear eyeliner every damn day in my teenage years. Now, I don’t wear it as much, but I do have a couple of liquid liners in my makeup bag for the days I feel like rocking the feline flick. Supercat is a great little product as it’s a felt tip style applicator, and its sharp tip means you get precise lines every time.

It is a really intense black and applies like a dream, but if you apply a second layer it does struggle to try which was the only issue I found.

Sexy Mother Pucker Lipstick in Matte Super Nude (£9.00)

Matte – check

Nude – check

Long-lasting – check

Pigment – check

Affordable – check

Easy to apply – check

This lippy ticks all the boxes. It’s got a pointed tip which is great for getting a clean line. It glides on like a dream and doesn’t budge thereafter. At £9, it’s slightly more expensive than your average drugstore brand like Rimmel/CYO, but is more L’Oreal/Bourjois.

Sexy Mother Pucker XL Plumping Gloss (£10.00)

This is one of Soap and Glory’s founding products, it’s just bigger and better than it’s original. You won’t be needing lip fillers or to such on one of those weird pouty contraptions to get that full lip – just one little S&G tube. The Sexy Mother Pucker XL Gloss.

When you apply the gloss, you almost instantly feel the intense tingling of the product working its magic. This is something that might not be for everyone, but I quite like the odd sensation. After about a minute, my lips are visibly plumper and fuller. I probably wouldn’t wear it every day, but perhaps if I was shooting some photos for blog posts, it’d definitely give me fuller lips and a Hollywood-worthy pout.

I absolutely love Soap & Glory! Their Hand Food is one of my favourite hand creams, I’m literally obsessed with the smell. How amazing that you were chosen to be a Babe of Glory, well done, that’s honestly goals. I love the look of the lipstick, that colour is just gorgeous. I’ve never really got on too well with the eyeliner as I just prefer brushes to pens, but I love the sound of the eyebrow kit as it’s so perfect for travelling, I might have to get myself one for Japan x

I’ve wanted to try some Soap & Glory makeup bits for ages! I’ve always loved the scent of their bodycare, so sweet, girly and gorgeous! The brow bar really reminds me of The Body Shops brow kits which were always a big winner when I worked there, what a cute package!

I was so excited to get this parcel as well! I’d previously tried a couple of products but there were also some new goodies lurking inside and while I’ve not really tried the brow palette yet, they eyeliner is hands down one of my favourites.
