Timeless gifts with Adexe London

Studying journalism at university has instilled a strong sense of time and punctuality into me. Always arrive early, never late. My course has a lot of deadlines, both termly and daily when working in a real newsroom.

For me, a watch is not only a beautiful accessory, but a very practical piece of equipment. I can’t be pulling my phone out in the middle of an inquest to check the time, or during an interview or an exam.

Those of you who have never owned a watch just realised how much you need one. Those of you who do own one, can’t imagine life without one.

I have adored Adexe’s watches for around a year now. They gifted me their Meek Grande Rose Gold earlier this year and it practically hasn’t left my wrist since. Last month, Marie at Adexe contacted me again to work on their Christmas campaign and along came Adexe watch number two.

This Petite Sistine Rosegold and White watch retails at £109, making it a very affordable watch for the quality and style.

Their old packaging used to be a slim white box, but their new, colourful design is fun, and better reflects the brands values on personality and creativity.

Inside the box alongside the watch is an additional black or brown leather strap. I selected black as I tend to wear black far more. These are surprisingly very easy to change, and gives the watch an entire new look and feel. It’s like getting two watches for the price of one!

I adore both the Meek and Sistine watches, and think they make a truly personal and show-stopping Christmas gift.

They are hand-polished stainless steel in rosegold, which is both on-trend and feminine. If you read my Boho Betty review you will know how much I love rose gold, and their Erdre bracelet matches both watches beautifully. The glass is made from curved, hardened crystal and the Meek sits on a sleek and modern black face whilst the Sistine boasts a clean, white face. I love that I now have one of each colour face. Adexe also do a beautiful berry coloured face that I have my eye on next.

The ‘numbers’ on the Meek are represented by little rose gold lines. On the Sistine, traditional roman numerals are featured in black. Both watches show the date on the right side which I really like.

Adexe have really nailed the craft, the style, the price, the packaging and the personal touch. Anyone who receives one of these this Christmas is very lucky. I can’t wait to build up my Adexe Collection in the new year.
