I’m a little late to be posting a Valentine’s makeup look, but hey, date nights are for all year round.
There was a time, when I first got my Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette, that I would wear nothing but pink eyeshadow. We all love a bit of Love Letter, right?
I’ve toned down my every-day look since I was 18, and reserve a pop of pink for date nights or valentines.
This look was inspired by February’s Glossybox, which was absolutely brilliant this month!
The first product in the box was Figs and Rouge Wonder Love Charm Glow Elixir. This was a full size product, costing £35, and gives your skin a glowy boost and a lovely base on which to apply your makeup.
Continuing with pre-makeup skincare, I used the Starskin Dreamkiss Sheet Mask, which is said to plump up your lips. I didn’t see a noticeable difference, but I do have quite big lips anyway – however, they did feel fuller. The sample included in the box was a deluxe mini worth £4.25. I would absolutely buy this again to include in a pamper session.
Some of the products I used fr this look included Dr Jart Beauty Balm, ABH Modern Renaissance palette and my trust No7 blusher in ‘Honey’. You can view all of the products used in my IGTV video below.
To finish off the look, I used the Saint Luxe lip liner from Glossybox, with the Floss Beauty lipgloss. You get two full-sized lip liners, one pink and one red, which come in with a RRP of £23. I used the lighter shade to line my lips, before sweeping on the Floss Beauty gloss. The gloss smells amazing, doesn’t feel sticky and lasts all day. It’s another full-sized product, which retails at £12.30 – which is roughly the cost of the whole box, plus postage!
I really loved the contents of February’s box, the only product I won’t use is the angled eye makeup brush, but it was still a full sized product worth £5.10.
