Who knew you could get celebrity-worthy hair for as little as £2.00?
Hairstylist to the stars, Andrew Fitzsimons, has teamed up with Primark to bring us a whole host of luxe hair products to keep your hair glam AF.
There’s a gorgeous looking range of shampoo and conditioners with various purposes, like volume and shine.
I decided to try out some of the styling range, to see if you can really achieve a-list hair without breaking the bank.
For those of you who don’t know who Andrew is – he’s only Kim K’s hairstylist. With 15 years in the industry under his belt, there are few people who could hold such a coveted title.
To test out the range, I tried out a half-up-half-down look using styling products and accessories.
To start, I ran some Andrew Fitzsimons Luxe Hair Oil (£3.00) through my ends to create a smooth and shiny look. Hair oil gives such a sleek look, and keeps those pesky babyhairs in check. I also like to use this when my hair is wet before wrapping it in my microfiber head towel.
After oiling up, I spritzed some of the Andrew Fitzsimons Fresh Dry Shampoo (£2.50) into my roots and under my veil. I love the fact this dry shampoo doesn’t feel gritty, and doesn’t leave a talc-like dusting over your scalp. I find dry shampoo great not only for freshening up day two or three hair, but for adding a small amount of volume to the roots.
I used one of the four nude and pink Andrew Fitzsimons No Mark Hair Clips (£2.00) to section off a fringe and used two clips to hold it out of the way whilst I styled the rest.
I picked up three Andrew Fitzsimons pink silk scrunchies (£2.50) and used one to create a half-up-half-down ponytail. These are great for sleeping in as they tend not to leave bobble marks like regular hair ties.
To finish, I set my hair with the Andrew Fitzsimons Glam Strong Hold Hair Spray (£2.00), which keeps my hair in place without it feeling rigid. There are also Bounce and Texture hair sprays, which are definitely next on my list.
