Having worked Christmas in retail for five years, I know how painful it can be to listen to the same Christmas playlist on repeat during weekend shifts throughout December. Thankfully, I no longer have to endure that pain, and I’m spending this Christmas working from home as a journalist this year.
That said, I do love Christmas songs – on my own terms. So I’ve created an hour long playlist of 20 Christmas songs that you won’t want to switch off! I think it’s just the right amount of cheese – but anyone playing Whamageddon will want to avoid! Use this playlist to listen to whilst decorating the Christmas tree, making festive cocktails, or cooking Christmas dinner to help you get into the seasonal spirit.
From Elvis Presley to Johnny Cash – there are some real iconic artists laced into this festive playlist – as well as divas like Mariah Carey and Destiny’s Child.
Attached is a Spotify playlist you can save to your library, but here’s the full list of songs if you want to save them elsewhere, like on Apple Music.
