If you’re looking for a signature piece of timeless knitwear that you can wear over and over again, look no further than Cara & The Sky’s Stevie cardigan.

The chunky knit, long cardigan comes in a variety of colours, including plum, blush, winter white and camel. Produced in the UK with a focus on sustainability, Cara & The Sky design exciting, eye-catching pieces that you’ll love to wear with absolutely everything.

Founded by former fashion buyer, Cara, the stylish knitwear brand was established in 2019, when Cara was made redundant. But armed with exclusive industry knowledge spanning over a decade, she developed dozens of twist, colour and stitch combinations to create joyous oversized jumpers, cute cropped cardigans, and statement sweaters.

The name of the brand stands for ‘Create A Right Attitude & Reach The Sky’, and has a focus on vibrant colours with unique patterns unlike anything you can buy on the high street. Cara & The Sky are now stocked in over 75 boutiques in the UK, Ireland and even Canada, taking the business worldwide. It was even shortlisted for Drapers’ independent Womenswear Brand of the Year.

The Stevie cardigan, in camel, slotted seamlessly into my existing wardrobe, and as a result, I’ve been throwing it over everything as the colder weather draws in. It’s designed to be slightly oversized with a tactile diamond cable stitch down the front, and huge balloon sleeves that offer a gorgeous shape.

The cardigan is one of the brands pieces from their third collection ‘Walk With Wildflowers’ which was released on September 1.

Cara recommends pairing it with slouchy mom jeans or layering in style over your favourite floaty maxi dress. Perfect for autumn, I styled it with a white blouse, beige and mustard checked jumpsuit and a cream fedora. I love this look with both trainers and boots – so you can rock the Stevie no matter what the weather looks like.

There’s a real focus on slow fashion, Cara is determined to make pieces that ‘stand the test of time’, and never go out of style. She said: “We want to slow down fashion. We create season-less capsule collections that stand the test of time.

“The designs are trend driven, but trend-less, giving longevity to each style. We want you to fall in love with every piece you safe in the knowledge that you can wear it this season, and it will be just as relevant next season and seasons to come.”

All of the knits are made from acrylic in a SEDEX approved UK factory, which allows the brand to maintain data on ethical and responsible practices. Cara prides her work on being free from any animal by-products, with labels and packaging made from 100% recycled and recyclable materials.
