Summer Beauty Favourites

It’s been so long since I wrote a beauty favourites post. I just checked my archives and my last one was back in January – eek. This post is certainly long overdue.

Even though January was only six months ago, I still mega cringe over my older blog posts. Anything written two months or more ago I try to delete from my brain. My writing and photography has improved so much since being self-hosted, so I’ll just erase any previous history prior to that, ay?

So, this favourites post is centred around my bath time and skincare routine. If you can’ tell from the photos, it’s pretty fruity too!

Radox Feel Vibrant Blood Orange and Ginger Shower Mousse £2.99

I picked this up at Boots when it first came out and I haven’t stopped using it since. The lid (which I’ve somehow managed to lose) had a scratch and sniff section where you could smell the product without having to open it. If you work in retail you’ll know how irritating it is when people test products that aren’t testers (grr!!).

The scent is super strong and lingers on the skin long after you’re out of the bath or shower. It’s not only an amazing shower gel, but can be used as shaving foam too! It’s two products in one that smells incredible and save you money. Shop it here (it’s on offer!).

St Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish Fighting £4.19

This scrub is awesome for you fellow babes with oily skin, like me. It’s specifically designed to fight against spots and blackheads to keep your skin clear. I prefer the more abrasive scrubs (you know, the ones that feel like you’re scratching your skin off), so that I can actually feel it working. That’s exactly what St Ives provides and despite branching out to other brands, I always go back to this scrub.

Additionally, it doesn’t use micro-beads, which means it’s plastic free and environmentally friendly! Instead, it uses walnut shell as its exfoliator, which I much prefer. Shop it here on 3 for 2.

Miss Patisserie Mango Body Scrub £13.00

Speaking of exfoliators, this body scrub smells divine. It contains sugar and natural oils to buff the skin and keep you looking glowy. They’re a cruelty-free and vegan brand, which is becoming increasingly important to bear in mind when purchasing products. Shop it here.

Miss Patisserie Mango Body Soufflé £7.00

This goes hand in hand with the scrub above, and is the perfect body moisturiser to use after using the exfoliator. The scent is the same as the scrub, but a little more intense which is great because it stays fragrant for longer.

It’s rich in vitamin E, so if you’re someone who loves ranges like The Body Shop and Superdrug’s Vitamin E ranges, you’ll adore this too. Shop it here, it’s currently got 10% off.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Enzyme Mask £5.49

I was sent this product a couple of months back and now I use it at least once a week. It’s my go-to mask for when my skin just feels shitty, greasy, dirty – you know the drill. Sometimes your basic cleanse, tone and moisturise can’t provide that deep detox you need. The Palmer’s Enzyme Mask draws all of the toxins out of my skin and leaves it feeling 10x clearer, brighter and smoother. It’s the only mask I’ve ever stuck to using religiously. Shop it here.

Let me know in the comments what your recent favourites are as I’d love to try out some new bits!
