Why Palmer’s Olive Oil hair care is perfect for summer

I’m a huge fan of Palmer’s – from their cult product Original Solid Cocoa Butter to their Enzyme Face Mask.

Palmer’s cover all bases, including hair care, body products, skincare in the Cocoa, Coconut and Olive Oil range.

I currently own and use some of their body scrubs, gradual tans, face masks, cleansers, moisturisers and lipbalms from the Cocoa and Coconut ranges.

Palmer’s recently sent me a beautiful gift packed with hair care goodies. Honestly, until I received this box I had no idea that Palmer’s did hair products. But, if they’re half as good as their face and body products, then they’re going to be glorious.

I was sent four products, alongside a little Mediterranean style bracelet and The Goddess Guide.

They have sent me their Palmer’s Olive Oil smoothing shampoo, replenishing conditioner, leave-in conditioner and conditioning spray oil.

The two products I have used religiously ever since are the shampoo and leave-in conditioner.

The Palmer’s Olive Oil range is mostly targeted at frizzy hair, which I don’t strictly have. However, with it being summer and the warm weather, my hair can play up a little! For those of you who look like Monica Geller pre-cornrows then this is your saviour.

The ingredients used to tackle this issue include extra virgin olive oil, vitamin E, Keratin and most importantly, Jamaican black castor oil.

The shampoo lathers up gorgeously and feels deep-cleansing. It smells incredible and makes a great regular use shampoo.

The real star of the show though, is the leave-in conditioner. I was always under the impression that leave-in conditioner would inevitably make your hair look greasy (such as when you don’t rinse your conditioner out properly). However, this product is insane.

After using the shampoo I will spritz a generous amount into my hair, squeeze out any excess water or product and run a tangle teaser through my ends. Even at this stage my hair feels silky, and I can hope out of the bath and go about whatever I’m doing. Once my hair is dry it looks so shiny and healthy! This conditioner is convenient for a lazy gal like myself, but also genuinely works, which can be a rarity in the haircare industry.

Palmer’s, you’ve done it again babes. At £4.99, the leave-in conditioner is certainly getting a repurchase once I’m finished with it!
